Software is a very important part to any measurement or reverse engineering operation. There is no use if you can get a few million points scanned or a lot of measurements and you can do nothing with that data. The important thing about software is that in the case of scanning that the software can handle to large amount of data and then you as the operator or designer can use that data in a useful way to create a new design or to create an inspection report. When you are probing you need to be able to easily do the measurements and also represent that measurements into a report that can be understood by the client. Kreon got agreements with all the major software suppliers and the arms and scanners are compatible with their software.
